Felix Holland is an architect and co-founder of Localworks, a Ugandan design & build collaborative specialising in ecological architecture. Motivated in equal parts by idealism, pragmatism and professionalism, the group consists of a closely-knit team of professionals – architects, interior and landscape designers, civil/structural and mechanical/electrical engineers, quantity surveyors, project managers – who together are committed to advancing green architecture in theory and in practice.

ONLINE PROGRAMME: SUSTAINABLE URBANISATION – A call to action across the Commonwealth

This event is the fifth in the Sustainable Urbanisation series and will be hosted jointly by the Association of Commonwealth Universities and the Commonwealth Association of Architects. It will focus on the findings of the ‘Survey of the Built Environment Professions in the Commonwealth’ and the need to build capacity and capability to better respond to the challenges created by climate change and rapid urbanisation.
